Jo Hobbs is the Co-Founder and CEO of Sit Back & Relax, a commercial furniture business she has grown over more than 25 years into one of Sydney's leading suppliers of office and workplace furniture. Headquartered in Sydney with manufacturing partners in every state, the business now supplies and distributes commercial furniture nationally.

Over her career, Jo's role has spanned every part of running the business, from business development, sales and marketing through to finance and human resources, giving her a ground-level understanding of what actually works when businesses fit out or furnish a workplace. She has spent 25+ years working directly with occupational therapists and Return to Work Coordinators, helping organisations choose ergonomic seating and workplace solutions suited to real injury prevention and recovery needs, not just aesthetics.

Jo has also led the business through significant industry disruption, pivoting operations quickly during recent turbulent trading conditions while maintaining job security for her team. That experience shapes Sit Back & Relax's practical, durability-first approach to furniture (reflected in the 10-year warranty backing most of its seating range) and its focus on sustainable manufacturing, including partnerships with GECA-certified suppliers like Herman Miller.
